My Facebook Account Was Disabled!
Dear Friends,
Welp, my Facebook account was disabled about a week ago. No reason was given, other than I somehow violated “community guidelines.”
Facebook would not tell me which guideline I broke.
The good news is I’ve been able to start a new Facebook account. Don’t know if FB will delete that once they get wind of it. But be sure to “Friend” or “Follow” me here on FB now: facebook.com/BenHartFreedom
You can also follow me my on X at: x.com/BenHart_Freedom
And my YouTube channel is here: www.youtube.com/@benhartcommentaries
I have a feeling the reason for the ban from FB was a meme I posted of Iranians throwing the cardboard cutout of the new Supreme Leader off a roof after it was reported that he might be gay. It was obviously a joke. But this joke probably ticked off an LGBTQer at FB, who then pushed a button and deleted my account.
So I instantly lost my 10,000 friends and followers.
Also destroyed were 15 years of priceless photos and videos — including of my kids when they were young, etc. Hopefully, I can find these photos and videos on old hard drives. I was using Facebook partly and a photo and video archive.
And they gave me no way to appeal the ban. They said the ban was permanent.
Hopefully, they don’t ban the new account. I think it should be illegal to ban someone from the world biggest social media platform without at least giving a reason.
Facebook is similar to the modern telephone. Everyone is on Facebook. To ban someone from Facebook is effectively to ban the person from society.
People cannot be banned from using the phone for making LGBTQ jokes.
Or it’s like debanking someone for their political opinions. Of course, Donald Trump was debanked from all the major American banks after the 2020 Election.
Banking is a service people need.
Hopefully, he wins his multibillion-dollar lawsuits against these banks.
My friend of 40+ years Dinesh D’Souza was debanked for his political opinions.
This is like denying someone medical care or electricity because of their political opinions.
So make sure your store all your valued photos and videos on a hard drive. Do not rely on any social media platform to keep your priceless photos and videos safe.
After Trump’s election in 20204, Zuckerberg had said Facebook was becoming committed to free speech. This turns out not to be the case.
This is one reason I launched this Substack newsletter, so that I can contact at least my core group of friends and followers if I get banned from a platform.
I had a feeling something like this would happen eventually.
Meanwhile, I have put up a couple of new video productions on YouTube. Here’s the latest that went up over the weekend.
And here’s one that went up about a week ago . . .
That’s all I have for now.
Love,
Ben
